森品堂:Duku Langsat 莲心果

每年八、九月左右是Duku Langsat的盛产期,许多外国朋友初见到它时还错觉以为是龙眼。新马一带习惯称它为Duku Langsat,至于中文名称多数为取其谐音“芦菇兰撒”,曾在某网络发现有人将它命名为“莲心果”,我倒是觉得相当合适及非常传神,果核真如莲子心一般的苦涩。

这果实遍布于东南亚热带地区,泰国称为Longkong(龙贡),印尼称为Duku,菲律宾据说也有,称为Lanzones,但那边则只可找到皮薄的兰撒。新马一带较随便,基于分不清楚哪个是哪个,其实难听一点则是懒得分辨,就干脆将两种水果名称混合起来,直接称为Duku Langsat 。


Duku及Langsat看似相似其实两者有所差别,唯一相同的所在是淡褐色的果皮。 学名为Lansium domesticum, Duku(芦菇)如高尔夫球般大小,果皮较厚,用手指轻挤压就可以剥开;Langsat(兰撒)外形较小,梗节部分较尖呈圆形,通常为一整串,果皮薄剥开时感觉带些黏性,两者里头有宛如山竹一瓣一瓣的果肉,果肉多呈半透明,带有柚子的清香,口感微酸带甜,较大瓣的果肉中含有褐绿色果核,咬破核时味苦。


这种水果通常只能在水果摊贩才买得到,超市绝对找不着。购买拎回家后,切记将整串果实用花洒冲水,或者放进水内大力摇晃以除掉果实空隙内可能隐藏的昆虫。据说蝎子会附在里头,由于一整串果实内有空隙可以让蝎子或其他昆虫藏匿,所以处理时应格外小心以策安全。別逞一时之快,被隐藏的昆虫咬伤,那多不值得啊!

您好!我在印尼,刚刚买了一串这种水果。怎么看都觉得是您说的“兰撒”,可是超市的标牌上写的是“Duku”,我实在是分不清。。。不过味道很好,喜欢!

看果皮即可知晓,皮薄的是兰撒。有空常来 :)

Bro. I am Malaysian and I need to tell you that you had mistake something.
Duku is Duku.
Langsat is Langsat.
Duku Langsat is a hybrid of both Duku and Langsat.
In Malaysia, it is true that a lot of people dont know how to differentiate Duku and Langsat, and called them Duku Langsat instead. But the truth is the hybrid: Duku Langsat was created, it is the most famous, most tasty compare to the other two, so what you see in the market here are mostly Duku Langsat (I would say over 95%). Meaning the people here don't really randomly name them Duku Langsat, it is because the people here seldom sell Duku and Langsat, but Duku Langsat instead.
Your post here could lead to misunderstanding, especially could affect us fruit industry. With kind, i hope you edit your post. Thank you. :)
